Teen Time: Animal Silhouette Cutouts

Teen Time is a weekly event at Carnegie Library of Homestead for ages 11-17 to do librarian-provided crafts or do planned activities on the Teen Tech Zone computers.

Today we did a craft based on this one I found on Pinterest.

Supplies Needed:

  • Printed out silhouettes of animals
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Dark colored paper
  • Newspaper pages


  1. Print out silhouettes of animals (I found mine using Google images) Here are some of mine:
    beaver bird camel dog2 lion monkey porcupine seahorse
  2. Print the silouttes onto stiff paper.
  3. Trace those silhouettes onto newspapers.
  4. Cut out the animal shapes
  5. Clue onto dark colored paper.
