Toddler Storytime: Butterflies!

I was pleasantly surprised by the kids enthusiasm this week for our butterfly storytime. We read the classic “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and counted all of the things!!

Paint a Balancing Butterfly!

  • Non-Toxic Washable Paint
  • Trays
  • Packing Peanuts
  • Paper
  • Butterfly Template

Directions:

For toddlers, cut out the butterflies ahead of time using the balancing butterfly template. Put out packing peanuts for the “brushes”. The kids can dot the butterflies using the peanuts.
