Overview of the Collection:

This collection contains photographs from the Cherry Blossom Festival in 2006, taken on 3/30/2006. The digital objects were all from the same date and location. Each one was individually named.

The terminology of ICA-AtOM is archival based, not very user friendly to non-archival Workers. I treated my collection as if the Archival Institution was our class, Digital Libraries, University of Pittsburgh. I used what I learned in metadata to create a Collection/Item style repository.

After using Resource space, a clear understanding of how to manage ICA-AtOM was easier to maintain. Once I figured out how to create the collection, the program was manageable. It required input of all the information about each resource before allowing the upload of the file. This seems to be a commonality across the pla
